The CK-12 Foundation is looking for a creative biology content product manager with a background in creating technology to scale learning and science education. This position’s focus is to help CK-12 offer a platform and state-of-the-art resources to make CK-12 a household name. This is a full-time position in the CK-12 Palo Alto, California office and includes a competitive benefits package.

Scope:
- Optimize current biology products including FlexBooks, adaptive practice, concepts, and learning objectives as CK-12 continues to develop a state of the art learning platform
- Develop new products providing personalized learning pathways to address each students needs and experience in biology
- Lead a team of mission-driven stakeholders including content creators, developers, contractors, and interns using innovative and inquisitive approaches.
Requirements:
- Subject Matter Expert in K-12 biology
- Work full-time in the CK-12 Palo Alto office
- 3 years minimum experience in digital learning product development with an edtech company
- Evidence of product success as defined by usage and improvement metrics
- High School Teaching experience a strong plus
Skills:
- Ability to write, review, and edit content for both teacher and student audiences
- Digital assessment authoring experience
- Strong work ethic, inquisitive, passionate, committed, strong research and problem solving skills, proactive, and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Product and goal driven
