Announcing: CK-12’s partnership with BlackBoard

blackboard blogIn our effort to ensure equitable access to high quality digital content for educators and students globally, we are happy to announce CK-12’s partnership with Blackboard.  With the ever expanding use of digital content in classrooms we have made great strides to bring our content to host of new platforms in hopes of reaching more students and assisting teachers.

Blackboard, one of the world’s leading education technology companies, is challenging conventional thinking and advancing new models of learning in order to reimagine education and make it more accessible, engaging and relevant to the modern day learner. This partnership, coupled with our existing content integration with several other partners, will make our free high quality STEM content and tools accessible to 53% of schools in America.

Through this partnership, teachers globally using Blackboard’s teaching and learning solutions through Xplor and add it to their courses. The content is 100% free for teachers to use in their classrooms everyday. Giving teachers the ability to add over 5000+ concepts in K-12 Math and Science to enrich their courses with multiple modalities (text, video, assessment, interactives and more), our mutual goal is to help teachers everywhere deepen student engagement and tailoring content to their specific learning styles.
