CK-12 Business and Strategy Internship

Want to work directly with the CEO of a successful multinational nonprofit educational organization to explore ways to boost the organization’s competitive edge? CK-12 Foundation is recruiting a stellar intern with a background and/or interest in education to fulfill this unique paid internship opportunity.


  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to conduct qualitative research and synthesize research results
  • Ability to search database and identify relevant reports
  • Basic literacy of quantitative method and understand how to interpret data in reports
  • Ability to communicate complex information and ideas
  • Strong writing and verbal ability
  • Familiarity with edtech industry is a plus

  • Investigate and explore tactics other organizations and companies use to get users and brainstorm potential ways to do it better.
  • Identify the business models companies evolve to become successful.
  • Understand the rapidly evolving ed tech landscape to help figure out how CK-12 can best position itself (Ex: ChatGPT, Large Language Models, etc.).
  • Draft, synthesize and compile reports and present research findings


  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a degree in business or a related field. Recent graduates will also be considered.
  • Experience in business analytics and research is a plus.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks (20 hrs a week), with the potential for increased hours.
  • This is an onsite, in-person position based in the CK-12 office in Palo Alto. This will require following all applicable health and security procedures.
