The CK-12 Foundation (www.ck12.org) is looking for a creative, design-oriented individual with good problem-solving skills and a strong background in mathematics to join our interactive team. Our next-generation interactive content supports student learning worldwide. A love of math and science, attention to detail, and an eye for design and layout are all highly valued. This job includes making interactives using the PLIX visual editor, building questions to support these interactives, and tracking content produced for the CK-12 platform.
This is a full-time position in the CK-12 Palo Alto, CA office as an interactive specialist on the Content Team and includes a competitive benefits package.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of mathematics and/or science.
- Interest in working with designers, teachers, and technology experts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technology skills, including Google applications, math equation editors such as MathJax, and Microsoft Office.
- Interest in improving interactive learning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Experience integrating technology (including links, videos, etc.) into resources.
- Creative, inquisitive, passionate, committed, strong work ethic, strong research skills, proactive, attention to detail.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in math or science discipline.
